SAF a Success!

Over 300 members of the UA community attended the SAF Family Mass and Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 5. At the Mass, Academy President Gretchen Kane announced that, the parent participation was at 60 percent, one percent above last year at the same time. After tallies were made with all of the pledge cards turned in by Monday (Oct. 6) morning, parent participation spiked to a record 75 percent!

Below are the results of the class participation contests.

Elementary School

First Place – Kindergarten with 100%
Second Place – 3rd Grade with 96%

Overall = 84% participation, up from last year’s 83%

High School

First Place – 12th Grade with 79%
Second Place – 9th Grade with 73%

Overall = 71% participation, up 9 % from last year’s 62%!

Alumnae

The ’49ers are currently taking the lead with 45 percent class participation, while the Rebelles of 1952 are coming in at a close second at 40 percent! There is still time to get your pledges in!
