OUR SISTERS
In my last e-newsletter, I provided new contact information for Sr. Damian Aycock ‘40 C ‘44 and Sr. Joan Marie Aycock ‘42. Since then, our beloved Sr. Marie McCloskey C ‘36 decided to join her fellow sisters in Alton. I hear that they are all doing really well over there and ‘have added spice to life’ in the community. I was told that Sr. Marie can’t get over how good everyone is to them and how “they do everything for you!” She may be reached at the same address as the others, which is listed below if you’d like to contact her.

ART FOR ARTS’ SAKE
Our own Lisa Silvestri ‘78 currently has an exhibit open at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Her exhibit is titled ‘Lisa Silvestri: The New Orleans Portrait Project, The John McDonogh Series.’ Her black & white portraits of students at John McDonogh Senior High School grew out of a series which she began in 2005, post-Katrina, ‘with the idea of helping people create a new photographic collection of family photos, which thousands lost in the flood.’ Click here for the link to The Ogden to go see her work.
Thank You,
