Senator Mary Landrieu ‘73 will be hosting a reception for Ursuline at her home in Washington D.C. If you reside in D.C. or in the surrounding areas, mark your calendars now for Thursday, April 30 from 6 -8 p.m. Invitations to alumnae in the D.C. area and surrounding areas will be mailed soon. We’re so excited to be heading your way! Hope to see you there.

SPRING ALUMNAE GATHERING
As mentioned in my last newsletter, ‘Super Terrific Happy Hour’ will be on Thursday, April 23 from 6 – 8 p.m. in Ursuline’s Courtyard. We had a nice turnout last year, with perfect weather to boot! Come join us for fabulous food, music and fun, compliments of the Alumnae Association. All attendees have a chance at winning Mac, Skip, Sioux, Lep or UA goodies. The silver Mignon Faget Lily pin (symbolizing Ursuline founder, St. Angela) sold exclusively by Ursuline, will also be available for a chance to win.

GODTUBE
Our Ursuline Sisters who moved last year from New Orleans to the Queen of Peace retirement community in Alton, IL, were featured along with other residents in a “Happy New Year” video for 2009. Click here to view. It was wonderful to see their smiling faces again.

Thank you,
