Last Chance…

We have just one week left until the end of our fiscal year (Tuesday, June 30), which means one week left to send in your donation, if you haven’t already done so, for the 2008-09 Serviam Annual Fund Drive. As always, we thank you for your generous support of Ursuline Academy and appreciate your contribution for the continued success of our dear Alma Mater.

Alumnae Involvment with Current Students

The Ursuline Identity Team (UIT) is planning to sponsor monthly sessions on “life topics” throughout this coming school year. As a way to help increase alumnae involvement with the current students, the UIT has asked for alumnae participation in leading the sessions by speaking to the girls about your current profession or instructing them on any basic skills that may be needed throughout life in general. If you are interested in participating, please click here for more information and a list of topics on which the students, through a survey, have already shown interest.

The UIT is a group that was established by the Central Provence of the Ursuline Sisters to uphold and continue the teachings of St. Angela for all members of the Ursuline community. Through this team, all members of the Academy, including the current students, continue to keep the mission of St. Angela alive.

Alumnae Choir – Interested?

Several alumnae have expressed interest in formulating an alumnae choir to perform at some of our functions throughout the year, mainly the Alma Mater at Homecoming Mass in the fall and at the Alumnae Induction in the spring. We would like to get a general idea of how many people might like to be a part of it. If you are interested in joining this talented group of alums, please let us know by e-mailing: alumnae@ursulineneworleans.org.
