DISTINGUISHED ALUMNA AWARD
In addition to all classes celebrating an anniversary this year, please join us at Homecoming in honoring the recipient of our 2009 Distinguished Alumna Award, LAURELEE ROGER TOSCANO ’60!

Laurelee is someone who carries out Serviam as a lived reality. Her commitment to community service, both locally and internationally, and devotion to her family prove that she truly demonstrates the core values and ideals of an Ursuline education in all aspects of her life. Laurelee once stated, “It took me 25 years after graduating from Ursuline to realize how much the Serviam attitude was embedded in my life … I track all of it back to the underlying virtue of Serviam I learned during my six years at Ursuline.”

You may read more about Laurelee when she is featured next month as our Alumnae Spotlight for November. CONGRATULATIONS, LAURELEE! You deserve it!

OPEN HOUSE
Sunday, Oct. 25 from 1 - 3 p.m. is Ursuline’s Open House! If you, your friends or relatives have school-age girls, please bring them by to see all the exciting things Ursuline has to offer! There’s no other school in the city that compares with our rich history and tradition. We were the first and we are the best! CLICK HERE for more information. Also, if you would like to volunteer to help as an alumna by going on tours with the student guides and sharing your own UA experience with observing families, please contact the Alumnae Office at alumnae@ursulineneworleans.org or call 504.861.9114 as soon as possible.
