SR. ESTHER REDMANN, ’42 C’46
Thank you to everyone who has sent in their condolences for Sr. Esther and her family. The funeral was this past Saturday and it was a beautiful celebration of her life. You may CLICK HERE to read an article written about her in the Times Picayune. She is now, and will always be, missed.
ALUMNAE INVOLVMENT WITH CURRENT STUDENTS
I am resending the below from a previous e-newsletter. We had several responses, but in order to make this work for the girls, we would need to have more participation from our general alumnae. Please consider coming to speak to our students. They want to hear from us!!
“The Ursuline Identity Team (UIT) is planning to sponsor monthly sessions on “life topics.” As a way to help increase alumnae involvement with the current students, the UIT has asked for alumnae participation in leading the sessions by speaking to the girls about your current profession or instructing them on any basic skills that may be needed throughout life in general. If you are interested in participating, please CLICK HERE for more information and a list of topics on which the students, through a survey, have already shown interest.
The UIT is a group that was established by the Central Provence of the Ursuline Sisters to uphold and continue the teachings of St. Angela for all members of the Ursuline community. Through this team, all members of the Academy, including the current students, continue to keep the mission of St. Angela alive.”
Thank you,
