Alumnae Update

Dear fellow members of the Ursuline Alumnae Association,

A few updates from the Alumnae Office…

SPAGHETTI SUPPER, “ANNIE”  & ALUMNAE BOOTH, FEATURING THE SIOUX OF ’90!
Invitations have been mailed to “local” alums for Spaghetti Supper 2010! Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of fun on Sunday, March 28 from Noon – 4 p.m. followed by a special student performance of “Annie” at 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium!

Baked goods, treats and desserts are needed for the Alumnae Sweet Treats Booth. If you’re able to contribute, please CLICK HERE.  If you’d like to volunteer by helping to sell treats in the booth or help run the Cake Walk activity for the children, please call or e-mail the Alumnae Office at 504.861.9114 or alumnae@ursulineneworleans.org.

HIGH SCHOOL CHORUS
Ursuline’s High School Choral Director/Music Teacher, Shannon del Corral (Mac of ‘91), is spreading the word that the month of March is MIOSM (Music in Our Schools Month), as officially designated by MENC: The National Association for Music Education.  The kick-off for MIOSM begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 5 in the Ursuline Auditorium with a concert with S.O.U.L (Singers of United Lands, a unique quartet of singers from 4 different continents.)  The event is hosted by Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, in collaboration with Ursuline Academy, the UAHS Chorus and other local schools.  The cost is $10.  You may CLICK HERE for more information.

Reminder – CAREER DAY
A reminder to those alums who are volunteering to come speak to the girls on Career Day!  It is this coming Wednesday, March 3 from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Thank you once again for your time.  It is much appreciated.
