Transformation is Complete; Newest Students Are Officially State St. Lions

Welcome Week Brings Out the Lion In Us All

Each year, the Big Sis / Lil Sis program coordinates a week where the elder students help the newest students on State St. become a little more comfortable in their new surroundings. Beginning Monday morning, each student’s Big Sis pinned a pair of Lion’s ears on her. On Thursday, the transformation was complete when the Big Sis gave her Lil Sis whiskers.

We would like to thank Mrs. Cutrer for coordinating the Big Sis Lil Sis program and for ensuring that Welcome Week 2010 was a success. Thank you to all the Big Sisters who extended their hands in an attempt to help their Little Sisters feel a little more comfortable as the newest students within Ursuline Academy’s High School Division.
