Amid cloudy skies and intermittent rain showers on Saturday, May 12, the Merry Mac Class of 2012 took their final steps as Ursuline students and became alumnae.  To the joy of the Macs, the skies cleared enough for the class to take their traditional portrait on the front steps.  An hour later, they entered the auditorium to receive their diplomas and final awards.  Three graduates, Rachel Foret, Marjorie Rawle, and Katie Stahel received valedictory honors while Jo Ripoll was honored as salutatorian.  The Sedes Sapientiae award, named for a title of Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom, was likewise presented to Katie Stahel. The CLC Medal, given to the student best exemplifying the Ursuline values of Courtesy, Loyalty, and Courage was awarded to Marci Holstein.

More photos to come.

She PR and broke her own school record, she finish the long jump competition placing 3rd. Great job Elissa what a way to end your senior year. We are so proud of you. The fun had only just begun, shortly after the long jump Caroline Knecht began to prepare for the 1600 meter run. She began her warmup around 2:45 PM. Her nerves were in check and she begin to prepare mentally. All the girls line up on the track and the gun sounds and the race begins. Caroline starts the race in 3rd and remains in 3rd until the last 200 meters. Caroline sprints the last 200 meters passing the two girls who lead the 1600 almost the entire way.mshe sprints pass them finishing the race with the time of 5:20.54 capturing the state title championship. Congratulation Caroline finishing 1st and breaking her own school record.
We end the day with 1600 meter relay. With a delay in the meet due to weather the girls: Elissa, Caroline, Alex Vicari, and Kealani anxiously wait for the weather to pass. After waiting for over an hour the girls begin to warm up. This was an exciting race from the beginning to the end. Elissa lead the girls off handing the baton off 2nd to Caroline, Caroline held the place until the last 50 meters fighting to keep there position.
