2011–2012 Character Traits

 September:


Our character trait for the month of September is courtesy.  The definition of courtesy is showing good manners or being polite.

Our character trait for the month of October is Loyalty.  The definition of loyalty is the tie binding a person to something for which he or she feels allegiance.

Our character trait this month is COURAGE.  The definition of courage is:

facing difficult situations bravely, with self-confidence and resolution.

Our character trait for the month of December is Trustworthiness.  The definition of trustworthiness is being honest and worthy of a persons trust and being someone who refuses to lie, steal, or deceive in any way.

Our character trait for the month of January is Respect.  The definition of respect is: showing admiration for a person or having a sense of her or his good qualities.

Our character trait for the month of February is fairness.  The definition of fairness is free from favoritism or bias; and being consistent with rules, logic, or ethics.

Our character value for the month of March is Citizenship.  The definition of citizenship is being a native or a naturalized member of a state or country who owes allegiance to his or her government and is entitled to its protection.
