Cross Country Team Results:—————————————————————————-

Brother Martin Elementary Invitational:  We placed 1st out of 10 teams with 56 points and received a plaque.  Newman finished 2nd with 70 points and St. Dominic finished 3rd with 74 points.  Our top five finishers were Gabby Terrebonne, 6th grader, 6th place, Samantha Daberkow, 6th grader, 11th place, Macy Boten, 6th grader, 12th place, Cameron Barnes, 5th grader, 13th place and Caroline Ragusa, 3rd grader, 14th place.

November 7th results:  Ursuline placed 3rd with 81 points.

Message from Coach Parker:  Thanks to all who played a role in the success of this Cross Country season!  After all, just as it may take a village to raise a child, it takes a passionate Ursuline Academy Cross Country family to support future champions.  All of our runners should be very proud of themselves!

Kelsey Raymond, 5th grader, participated in the New Orleans Music Teachers’ Association 2009 Romantic-Contemporary Auditions (piano competition).  This event took place on November 14th.  Kelsey was awarded the Superior Recitalist Trophy.

Jordan Nicholson, 6th grade, is an extra in Actor’s Theatre of New Orleans presentation of A Christmas Carol-December 3-20th.

Sarah Buckley, 1st grade, will be performing in the L.H. Ballet Classique performance of “The Nutcracker”, as well as the UNO Lakefront Youth Experience performance of “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

Gabriella Trentacosta, 5th grade, will be performing in the JPAS “A Christmas Carol” as The Ghost of Christmas Past on December 11-13th  & December 19th.
